The EPIQ screen and 3D experience are really good. The screen is quite big, but if you sit in the top rows, it can feel a little smaller from a regular cinema viewer’s perspective. I’d recommend choosing around the 4th, 5th, or 6th rows from the front for a more immersive experience.

Apart from that, the overall experience is really good. The sound quality is impressive, the seats are comfortable, and the ambience is great. Definitely recommended for cinema lovers!

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against ART Cinemas, Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad, regarding an incident that occurred on 02 August 2026 at approximately 12:55 PM during the Spider-Man movie.

I visited the theatre with my 5-year-old child. During the security check, the staff found a small packet of baby biscuits in my bag. These biscuits were carried solely for my child's consumption and were not intended as outside food for adults.

The security staff informed us that outside food was strictly prohibited. I explained that the biscuits were only for my young child, but both the security personnel and the floor manager refused to make any exception. We were told that we would not be allowed to enter the theatre unless we handed over the biscuit packet.

Having no other option, I surrendered the biscuits to the security staff so that my family could enter the theatre.

During the movie interval, my child became hungry and started crying because the biscuits had been taken away. It was heartbreaking for us as parents to watch our 5-year-old cry due to hunger, and even after witnessing this, the theatre staff did not show any empathy or offer any reasonable solution.

I would like the management to answer the following questions:

Is there an official written policy that prohibits parents from carrying a small packet of baby biscuits for a young child?
Do you genuinely believe that the food sold inside the cinema—such as popcorn, nachos, soft drinks, and other concession items—is suitable or appropriate for every 5-year-old child?
If a child cannot eat the food available at the concession counter, what alternative does the theatre provide?
Why was no reasonable exception made for food that was clearly intended only for a young child?
I fully understand that cinemas have policies regarding outside food. However, those policies should be implemented with common sense, compassion, and reasonable accommodation, especially when it comes to infants and young children. A small packet of baby biscuits carried for a 5-year-old should never be treated the same as outside meals or commercial food.

This incident caused unnecessary emotional distress to my child and completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable family outing.

I respectfully request that the National Consumer Helpline investigate this matter and seek an explanation from ART Cinemas. I also request that ART Cinemas:

Provide a written explanation of their policy regarding baby food and children's snacks.
Review and amend this policy to allow reasonable exceptions for infants and young children.
Train their staff and management to handle such situations with empathy, professionalism, and respect.
Issue a written response regarding this incident and the action taken.

An excellent cinema destination that gets almost everything right. The movie-watching experience is top-notch, with impressive audio quality, ample parking, clean washrooms, and reasonably priced food and beverages. The overall ambience makes you want to visit again. The only drawback is the lift system, which can be confusing for first-time visitors and could benefit from better maintenance and clearer navigation. Apart from that, it's a fantastic theatre experience.

I recently visited ART EPIQ Vanasthalipuram and was genuinely impressed with the overall experience. The theatre is very well maintained, clean, and offers a premium movie-watching atmosphere. The screen quality is excellent, delivering sharp visuals, while the sound system is powerful and immersive throughout the auditorium. The seating is comfortable, and the overall ambiance feels modern and well-designed. It’s great to see such a high-quality cinema experience in this area. Definitely one of the best theatres around Vanasthalipuram.
