What we look at
Screen quality — projection type (4K Laser, standard digital), screen size, and premium formats like Dolby Cinema where available.
Sound system — the audio setup in each auditorium, from standard digital sound to Dolby Atmos with full channel counts.
Comfort and amenities — seating type (standard, recliner, luxury), air conditioning, parking availability, and other on-site facilities.
Visitor reviews — real ratings and written reviews submitted by people who've actually visited. We display these alongside our own assessment, not folded invisibly into a single number.
How we gather this
We collect theatre specs directly — visiting venues, checking official announcements from theatre chains, and cross-referencing with booking platforms — and update listings when a theatre renovates, upgrades its screens, or changes amenities.
What we don't do
We don't accept payment from theatres to influence ratings or placement. We don't auto-generate reviews. Pros and cons listed on each page reflect a genuine mix of strengths and real limitations — including things like limited parking or older seating — because a useful guide has to tell you the downsides too.
Something look wrong?
If you spot outdated info on a theatre page — a closed screen, an upgraded sound system we haven't caught yet — contact us and we'll look into it.
